I have to apologize to all those who could not access the forums in the last few days. Yes, I`ve only just found out folks have been emailing us, unfortunately I never got any of those. It was by pure chance I was browsing through some logs when I noticed dozens of `members enquiries` had been black listed by the spam script in place. Another few days and they would have been zapped.
I am sorry. the script has been disabled for now until we can get this thing work right. I have personally replied to each and every email this evening. It took me the best part of two hours ;) but of course worth it!
Sadly with the ever increasing spam problem, having some kind of filter in place is a must. With a popular site like this one, you won`t believe the amount of spam we receive. Sometimes it can take ages to trawl through the stuff and can become very frustrating.

I had to register new. There was no way I could recover or get a new pass word (believe me I tried everything).
The mail from Weather.org goes to a Dalhousie Univ. machine. I disabled all the filters and blockers on my email but still did not work.
I changed to another email address and another machine and got through. But having another email address I had to re:register.
Anyway, it worked.

I am still at a loss though, why I can get your email but cannot get the reset ot new password mail on that email address. ??? ??? ???
Not sure Ron. I need to look at this. Seems like the email headers are being dumped as spam or even being firewalled somewhere for some reason, but only from this board. Your old account is up and running again.
Back to normal or as normal can be for me.

Since switching to vbulletin, quite a few members have emailed the site asking why their passwords are being rejected.
Every email sent to us has been responded to, however quite a few are using email addresses that are no longer working. They are being rejected and bounced back meaning you will never get that response.
Please ensure your email address when contacting us is working and valid, we have no other way of replying if not and your account will remain dormant.
