I've got 3 here that some of you have may have already seen but some said they didn't work. Let me know if they work as I am still experimenting video capture cards with my CPU. I only have analog connectors on my camcorder and no firewire connector on it so that's why I had to get a separate card that would allow me to get video on to my CPU. Still can't figure out sound though but that is coming soon! Both of these were taken right at my home in Winnipeg, MB during a wicked lightning storm.

Hey KeepOnRockin, were those video taken yourself? What are you using for capturing software or devices on your computer? How did you get sound? And as well, how do you get it to open a direct link to the windows media video rather then the way I have mine which takes you to the video hosting site and you have to download the video first which takes so long for some reason? I want mine so that it completely bypasses that whole process with the video hosting site.

Its that stupid video hosting site. Does anybody know how I can host my own videos without using some site?
Those videos worked for me before.. Hmm, but nope I didn't take those videos, Those were just videos streamed from stormscenes.com. However, I do have some lightning videos I took myself, but they are too large to post here, so I have to find some compression software, and find a hosting site if necessary.. So I can get back to you on that if I find any useful hosting sites.
Well I think this is a worthy thread, I think it's worth reviving. I've seen quite a few neat videos since last summer, but do you think I can find one now? Best I can come up with is this [url=][/url] which I suspect will appeal to a certain segment ::

Some of these old Tesla coils and Vandegraff generators are awesome. I can remember messing around with some of this stuff when I was a kid in school. I can also remember getting a few good “wacks†off of them too. He he he,, enough to make your toe nails curl backwards.
