Another day, another round of T-storms. Seems like we've had them every day for the past two weeks.
Enough to make some over here a little jealous!

Today is/was exceptional, longer lived t-storm complete with hail and rain rate of 100 mm/h. The runoff was incredible, driveway turned into streams and streets into rivers. After a while the street turned brown from the dirt that the runoff is carrying. Really has overwhelmed the sewers.


EC has a severe warning out for Toronto and points east.

I dont think I remember a year with so many t-storms!

Crazy stuff. Every day I see watches and warnings out for southern Ontario. You guys are in the perfect zone for severe weather. If the Sonoran ridge dominates come July and August, you can expect much of the same for the rest of the summer. Check Larry Cosgrove's Summer Outlook. He seems to be painting an ominous picture for much of Eastern Canada.

May was dead for storms and most of June has been pretty slow. All the storms keep firing from Parkhill east to north of Woodstock to Cambridge to Hamilton. They don't seem to be firing up here about 20km. It's making me mad!! All the storms that do develop out by Stratford just seem to go "poof!" when they hit the Waterloo county line.

Yeah I just had hail, super heavy rains and a thunderclap that set off someone's car alarm!

Ok, we've got a new storm just passing over now. I can see some slight rotation in certain parts of the cloud. We had heavy rain and small hail again. I've got some pictures that sort of show the rotation. I may post them soon.

Mm... in my thread in the photography forums, I have some pictures of the storms north of london.

At that point I wasn't ready to damage our friend's car due to the storm so I quickly got into the car and we started rolling.
