I am looking for anyone who has personal experience with Peet Brothers weather stations. I have read a few positive reviews and have a copy of their catalogue which describes some nice equipment, but I am interested in hearing from someone who has actual hands on experience with Peet Brothers gear. Is it quality equipment, has there been any need for customer service, and if so, was that a positive experience? Any and all info would be appreciated!
I don't own a Peet Bros. weather station but I heavily considered it when I was deciding which station to purchase. They definitely have a more superior anemometer and rain gauge compared to Davis Vantage Pro2 but at the moment, Peet Bros. don't offer:
1) wireless version
2) fan-aspirated radiation shield for the temperature/humidity sensor
3) solar and UV sensors
The console itself is not as attractive as Davis Vantage Pro2. In the end, I decided to purchase a Davis station because of their flexibility, reliability and more affordable if you want to expand your weather station.
