I was looking at another weather forum called UK Weatherworld and they have a feature on their site called "past weather" where members can discuss historic weather events and how they might relate to current weather events/patterns. It sounds like a really good idea and I was wondering if we might be able to start something similar here?
Thanks for the suggestion Andrew, they are always appreciated and welcome anythime. We had a forum once dedicated to past weather events but it went unused for long, long periods of time so we decided to close it.
I have an idea, maybe it will suite your idea? The Climate Earth and Canadian Weather forum descriptions could be edited to read:
Climate Earth: Research and News
Discuss and debate issues involving the planet`s climate past and present, the latest in global warming research and news, El Nino, La Nina, the North Atlantic conveyor, abrupt climate change and Kyoto.
We could also edit this one:
Canadian Weather
Chat about everything and anything that's happening in Canadian weather from coast to coast, past and present.
Thoughts anybody?
