We are now into mid February, technically little over a month is remaining of the winter although more often than not it can last longer in some regions.
We have decided to postpone the winter weather pages until next season. It would be a tremendous waste of time spending weeks developing these products, beta testing them, then releasing them. We would be into the end of March before these can be brought online.
In the meantime we have decided to spend the coming weeks preparing for the spring and summer with our severe weather pages.
These will detail thunderstorm potential, lightning tracking (sferics), and professional charts such as helicity and the various indices useful for storm forecasting.
The winter weather pages will be removed from site navigation so that we do not get inundated with e-mails asking us what is happening with it.
