Sunny day with -2.7 this morning and a 17.4 deg as a maximum.
it's the third frozen day of the season and the weather should turn into short showers this night and tomorrow while some clouds appear this afternoon.
Colours are very beautiful with a mix of red, brown, yellow and green.

Today is a different day, clouded and mild after the very beautiful monday.
Yesterday -2.7/18, min and max of the month in the same day
Today 10/15 with no precipitation.
But weather seems to turn to colder temperature within the end of the week, specially in northern part of the territory.

It will be soon, let's say less than one month. Snow should be there in Northern part of the Territory on Dempster Highway (between Dawson and Inuvik) for the week-end.
In Whitehorse now, it's clouded with 12.4 C

I'm back !
Two weeks during which we felt in beginning of winter time with a -9.9 last week, and snow yesterday with about 2 cm on the ground.
Following days will be interesting with a hot wave coming up to Alaska, whereas NWT and part of Alberta would know an good cold pulse, and Yukon will just be on the border of this conflict

A quick point in this long week-end !
Always a Yukon shared in two parts, East with the queue of the cold wave and -2 in Watson Lake now, and the Rest of Yukon in the mild with +3 in Old Crow (in the North) or +6 in Dawson and Beaver Creek near Kluane Park.... and a boaring weather, overcast.
Colder temperatures should come back with sunny conditions at the beginning of this week.
I also have to mention mild temperatures in Alaska, with +6 in Fairbanks or -1 in Barrow.

I would just inform you that I will perhaps post in current conditions from now. It depends on what you prefer : keep a special topic for Yukon or have a look on conditions in an everday report. It's up to you to choose ;) !

I'm back ;) !
After winter conditions last week with our first -20°C, this week begins with almost 10°C above normal temperatures.
Conditions : -5.3°C, clouded. Snow showers are forecast. The "hot wave" should last all week long.
FYI, I added some pictures in my website : Meteowhitehorse
The website is updated at least on a weekly basis.

Yikes, what a swing from -20°C one week to 10°C. Must be difficult to get used to weather like that. :)
LOL, enjoy your "hot wave" while it lasts.

No, cumulusgranite, we misunderstood and it's my fault ;) , with my poor English.
I wanted to say that we are 10°C above normal temperatures....
Sorry :)
