It is shaping up to be another warm weekend.
The temp here is up to 28°c now with a dew point following at 24°c.
Enjoy the weekend, drink plenty of fluids and get in a shady spot every now and then :)

Warm and humid just outside of Moncton. Peaked 30.8C with a dew point of 23C, the humidex was around 41C. Went to the beach for a few hours to cool off but got stuck in traffic. Sat at a standstill on the highway for an hour, quite a few cars off the road with overheating problems. A 20 min drive to Shediac became and hour and a half in this heat it wasn`t fun. We got there and the Northumberland Strait was just like the local indoor pool. Really warm water.

Seems the wind has picked up/shifted and has lowered the dew point some what, it has lowered to 18C in the last two hours which feels nice and refreshing. We`re still at 30.1C.

We`re having an amazing stretch of weather this month, too hot for working but I`ll take it on my days off :) Just hate going back to work, our shop/garage has been dubbed "aquatic centre" this summer :(

Certainly a beautiful day yesterday. We went to St. Andrews for the day, and it was warm and humid there as well - the Bay of Fundy offered little relief from the heat.

This month has definitely been a fantastic one for vacationing, etc. I haven't searched my records, but I'm certain that so far, July 2010 is the warmest month we have had in quite some time. We had several thunderstorms here late last evening/overnight. They were no big deal, but a reminder that despite all the heat and humidity, we have had very little thunderstorm activity here so far this summer. There has been quite a bit of activity north and west of here, but surprisingly little around here.

The temp here today is kind of bopping up and down, currently 28.5°c with a dew point of 23c. Yesterday's high was 30.6°c and I would imagine it will hit that today as well. T-showers are in the forecast and they have been off and on many times. There has been no activity here in that regard, perhaps today. With the heat and humidity we have had lately, I am surprised there have been no thundershowers.

There have been t-showers popping up through most of the Maritimes today, and there are watches up for some area's. It has been clear and sunny here in my area most of the day. I have been keeping my eye to the sky in hope's of seeing something develope, it is not looking good for a t-showers here at the moment, perhaps as the evening moves on.

It was 27.4°C in St. John's today. Still warm and muggy. Has been for about a week now. Some strong thunderstorms moved through central NFLD today and last night, where it's been 30 or better most of the week during the day time. Warm weather is forecast again tomorrow, with temperatures in the mid and even upper 20s.
