Just saw this in CBC news.. I remember reading about the huge piece of ice that broke off the Petermann Glacier last year, but hadn't realized it had drifted so far south.

My question is, I wonder how much further south will it drift, and will it become an issue for shipping lanes in NFLD.

Until you posted this link, I was not fully aware of this event. I do vaguely remember hearing of the ice chunk breaking away, I didn't realize it was still floating happily down through the ocean :D
