Many areas of south eastern UK, southern and southwestern UK are currently experiencing drought conditions, believe it or not!!! Apparently the last few winters have seen far below average rainfall. Reservoirs are half full, some rivers have dried up.

The irony is, we are now experienced the wettest April in decades, the environment agency has said the rain is of the wrong type and we need steady rain during the winter months to replenish supplies. They have banned hosepipe use in the southeast.

As is typical these days, we'll get our rain during the summer
