in the next week we will have two systems affecting our weather. Late Sunday into Monday we will have a rain maker with the possisibility of 20 - 25 mm. The second system arriving on Wednesday has been noticed by the media and is getting a fair bit of air time. There is a possibility of a fair bit of snow and wind, but being 5 days out hard to nail anything down. Here along the coast it could be snow or change to rain, depending upon what model you look at. Have to keep on eye on it.

The last few model runs for Wednesday's system have the rain /snow line passing through southern NB with the possibility of mixing in the extreme parts of northern NS. Will have to wait till a bit closer to see if it may begin as snow on the Mainland of NS.

Seems you've had a relatively snow free winter in the Maritimes from what I have seen?

Yes not much snow this year. Last year on April 1 the SOG here at my place was 96cm, this year on April 1, the SOG was 0cm.
